The Boys’ Choir of Tallahassee is a community based outreach program for at-risk males, ages eight to eighteen, enrolled in schools throughout the Tallahassee area. Its mission is to foster academic excellence, build character and self esteem, develop interpersonal skills, and help young men realize their fullest potential while acquiring life skills.

The Choir is unique because of its “No Excuses” motto, which defines its blueprint for the twenty-first century, and its extraordinary musical repertoire. Under the direction of Mr. Earl Lee, Jr., the Choir is experiencing tremendous success in musical performance and academic achievement. From the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage to St. Peter’s Basilica, these young men maintain rising grade point averages and continuous enrollment in local colleges and universities.
